Emotions and Separation

Separation can be painful; thoughts of ‘getting even' can take over. This seminar gives an over view of the grief process and provides guidelines in managing your relationship with your ex.

At the completion of the Emotions and Separation seminar pa rticipants will:

•    Have recognised they are not alone in experiencing angry or painful emotions.

•    Know that separation is a grieving process that will pass.

•    Learn strategies to identify, express, overcome and learn from their painful feelings.

•    Understand how and why their partner's experience may be different to theirs.

•    Learn how to develop a more workable ‘business-like' relationship with their childs             other parent

•    Have skills to improve mental and emotional resiliency and enhance their social              support    networks.

Duration:    2 hour seminar, 6:30-8:30pm
